Toxic Relationships

Thursday, April 29, 2010
I don't just mean male~female relationships. These can be friendships and even family member relationships. Sometimes you just have to break the ties.

You need to be able to recognize when a relationship is toxic to you.
Is this person always criticizing you, always bringing you down, always trying to make you feel bad?

Get away now.

Yes, even if it's a family member.
It's okay to distance yourself from these people.
You are meant to be all that you are meant to be.

Do not let anyone get in your way.
Do not let anyone hold you back.
Do not let anyone tell you any different!

For every step forward you make, there will always be someone there trying to knock you down 3. It is up to you to hold your own.
It is up to you to know that you are stronger than those words.
You are better that what they say.
You are you & you deserve it all!

I tend to use myself as examples quite a bit. Tonights post is a result of how I am feeling right at this moment. I am lifting myself up.
I hope it does the same for all of you.

Like what I have to say?
Like my style?
Need a little life help?
I'm your girl.

Great post! I've been in toxic relationships and I have to admit, I been part of that toxicity. With a lot of help, I grown in the past few years and I'm now able to see when something is toxic long before it damages me. I'm able to distant myself from toxic people a lot quicker now.

I also know today that I am not the toxic person I was once before and I am so thankful for that!
